TVS lists both 1.2L and 1L sizes in its Synthetic range. Buying the 1.2L pack gives you another 200ml compared with the smaller bottle, but it does not change the SAE grade. The practical reason to choose it is the quantity you need for servicing or keeping a suitable top-up supply, not a claim that a bigger bottle makes the engine more powerful.

The manufacturer’s Synthetic reference discusses API SL and JASO MA2, resistance to oxidation and maintaining viscosity under changing temperatures. The supplied artwork visibly carries API SL.
