This Bajaj DTS-i Premium 20W-50 pack totals 1.2L: one 1L bottle plus a separate 200ml bottle. It is not a single 1.2L container, and the smaller bottle does not mean every bike needs a 200ml top-up.
Bajaj’s manuals distinguish the engine-oil requirement and refill quantity for each motorcycle. DTS-i Premium packaging does not establish compatibility with every Pulsar, Discover or Avenger edition.
20W-50 has SAE hot-viscosity class 50, unlike grade-30 and grade-40 oils. Extra viscosity is not automatically better protection: use it when your engine’s manual allows this grade and its performance standard matches.
The total 1.2L is supplied as 1L plus 200ml. Open the smaller bottle only if the measured refill needs it, and keep unused oil sealed. Do not overfill the engine to empty both bottles.
Before ordering, match the manual’s API requirement and JASO clutch specification with the bottle. Follow its oil-change schedule, including any severe-use instructions for frequent short trips or heavy traffic.
